This Privacy Notice explains how block research, Timo Bautsch ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit blockresearch.ai, contact us, or use our services.
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, support messages, newsletter choices, billing details, and transaction information. Card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored directly by us.
Before you can write to us through the support chat, Crisp asks for your email address. We process that address and your messages so our team can answer your questions and continue the conversation. The email address is also stored in our CRM under the source category "Crisp Website Chat" for support context. It is not enrolled in a newsletter or marketing sequence unless you separately opt in for that purpose. The chat service also receives technical information needed to deliver the service, such as your IP address, device and browser information, and the page from which you contacted us. We use Crisp IM SAS as our chat service provider. Crisp's AI Agent is not enabled for this workspace, so chat conversations are handled by our human team.
When you visit our website, we may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, interaction events, and server logs. We use PostHog's EU-hosted service for limited product and website analytics. Session recording and automatic interaction capture are disabled on this website.
We share personal information only as needed with service providers acting on our behalf, including Crisp for support chat, PostHog for analytics, Stripe for payment processing, and infrastructure and email providers used to operate the service. We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect our rights and users. We do not sell personal information.
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, our contractual and legal obligations, security, and dispute resolution. Crisp chat history remains available to our support team until it is manually deleted or must be retained for a legal reason. You may ask us to delete a support conversation using the contact details below. Other records, including transaction and consent records, may require different retention periods under applicable law.
